Pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialists focus on providing a pathway before, during, and after pregnancy to help women feel comfortable and successful during this journey. This specialist will dive deep into breathing patterns, posture, pelvic floor strength, diastasis recti, movement during pregnancy, and all things postpartum. Another avenue that this specialist can address is urinary incontinence in both men and women.
Cupping
This modality is a great tool followed by any treatment session (or as it's own individual session) to address pain, inflammation, and blood circulation. It promotes healing and muscle recovery.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a clinical treatment that utilizes a very small diameter needle placed into painful soft tissue. The placement of the needle is based on the patient's unique evaluation findings to directly address each patient's pain and dysfunction. The small needle used in dry needling varies in length depending on where in the body the needle is placed - safety is always them main focus of treatment!
